ECS History

The ECS history initiated from academia and industry in Europe and started a meeting at the first ECS in 1995 in Leeds (UK).
Since then experts and researchers from academia and industry have been getting together at the European Coating Symposium to discuss advancements in liquid film coating science and related processes.
The ECS Symposium is held biennial in rotation with the International Symposium of Coating Science and Technology (ISCST) , which started in the early 90's.
