Thin Film Coating and Drying Short Courses are offered biannually prior to the ECS meetings. The next Short Course will be held in September 2013 prior to the ECS 2013 meeting in Mons (Belgium) (Registration separately to the Symposium).
The Short Courses will be offered under the supervision of Prof. Wilhelm Schabel and Dr. Philip Scharfer (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), together with instructors from industry and university such as (Dr. Peter Schweizer (Polytype, CH), Prof. Hadj Benkreira (Bradford, UK), Ike De Vries (Holst Center, NL), Gilbert Gugler (ILFORD, CH) and other instructors from EUROPE/AMERIKA/ASIA (to be announced)

We have decided to limit the maximum number of participants to 40
on this course. Both because of the size of the room we have reserved at
the Radisson Blu, and also because it is easier to get good contact to the
audience in not too large a group. If you know people who plan to attend
the short course, please encourage them to register rather now than later,
because it is always possible that we will reach the 40 person limit and
cannot accommodate more participants. The total amount can be paid by credit card via on-line registration or by requesting an invoice. For cancellations received by May 20, 2011, the participation fee will be reimbursed less a processing charge of € 50.00. After this date, no reimbursements can be made.
However, it is still possible to nominate a replacement.
